Camping at Potato Creek State Park

We went camping this past weekend, finally! We had a blast.
Jacob got to ride his bike all over the park and we played
at three different playgrounds. We did a lot of walking. We
did have to cut the trip short due to rain, though.

Jacob wanted to roast marshmallows all weekend. He doesn't
roast it much; he just warms it a little.

We took a lot of walks Saturday. Needless to say, we were exhausted.

This is what happens to a four year old who walks & plays all day!!

Kickin' back

Jacob likes to just chill in his recliner. Reminds me of when
me and Dana sat like this at maw and paw's!

Playing outside with Granny

Granny came to visit Jacob instead of us going to her house.
They enjoyed playing ball and frisbee outside. Jacob is still
learning the frisbee!

Summer party at school

Friday Growing Kids had their summer party. They had a
magician come in and do card tricks for a while. Jacob thought
that was really great! It was fun watching the kids' faces
during the show. They had hotdogs and cookies for supper. Then
they all got to jump and slide in the bouncey house.

Potowatami Zoo

Last weekend, we spent a couple of hours at our zoo. We
had a good time, but it was hot. Jacob always likes
the zoo, so we deal with the heat!

We liked the peacocks that were walking aroung the zoo.
But they never would open their feathers!

This is a back scratcher like the bison use. Jacob
thought it was cool to be like them. Me and Tony
thought it felt good, too!
He always likes to pet the goats!

Jacob took a break to play on the big turtle.

The prarie dogs were out of their holes eating. They were so cute!

Riding around the zoo on the train is probably his favorite part.

Here, daddy and Jacob are kicking back watching chimps play.
